Dr Saibal Ghosh
Dr Ghosh is an Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist who embarked on his medical journey in India, before making his way to the UK and finally settling in the vibrant landscape of Australia! He is a Fellow of the Royal Australia New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG), having completed all requirements of specialist training in Australia. With over 15 years of experience in Obstetrics, he has worked in various parts of Queensland and NSW before joining Campbelltown Hospital as a Visiting Medical Officer, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.

He is a nominated Supervisor for the DRANZCOG training programme and a Conjoint Lecturer at the School of Medicine, Western Sydney University, where he inspires the next generation of medical professionals.

Dr Ghosh's expertise lies in High-Risk Obstetrics and office Gynaecology; he is an advocate for normal vaginal birth, but also has extensive experience in operative vaginal deliveries, including breech births and caesarean sections, making him an ideal choice for women in need of such services. Dr Ghosh has Specialist appointments at Campbelltown Public Hospital, Sydney Southwest Private Hospital (Liverpool), and The George Centre (Gledswood Hills), where he provides quality care to his patients.

His rooms are at Optimum Women’s Health at The George Centre in Gregory Hills, and at Artemis Women’s Health in Campbelltown, ensuring he is not far away from any of the hospitals where he conducts deliveries.

One of the significant advantages of his private practice is that he solely concentrates on Obstetrics, does a limited number of private deliveries each month and lives locally. This ensures that he is more focused on his work, and the chances of him being scrubbed in theatre with gynaecological surgeries, and therefore, missing his patients' deliveries, are reduced to a minimum.

Plus, with private admission rights at Campbelltown Hospital, he can seamlessly continue caring for his patients, even in higher-risk situations.
